In this session, Lee-Ellen Marvin conversed with Christina Baldwin about her book Storycatcher, Making Sense of our Lives through the Power and Practice of Story. Published by New World Library, this book has remained in continuous print for twenty-five years. An accessible, story-based hybrid of memoir and education, full of writing prompts and inspiration, the book has been used by tens of thousands of storycatchers. The rich Q&A at the end of the conversation is included.

 

About the Author

 Christina Baldwin is a pioneer of personal writing, a dynamic speaker and decades-long teacher of journal and story. She is the author of groundbreaking works: One to OneLife’s CompanionThe Seven Whispers, and Storycatcher. Her recently published historical novel, The Beekeeper's Question, follows a Montana family in World War II and is a national book club favorite.

A spirited elder, she continues to contribute to her bodies of work through online presence, personal appearances, and writing. She lives on an island north of Seattle, Washington with author and naturalist educator, Ann Linnea. Her life is held by trees, surrounded by salt water with a view of mountains, and in a community of friends.
