Share Description
Come join us for a fun night of painting and create a unique masterpiece of art to take home. We've upcycled some of our surplus art frames with freshly primed boards ready for a new coat of paint. All necessary supplies will be provided (framed art panel, paints, brushes, etc).
This is a light hearted non-directed painting workshop and social event. No specific art instruction or lecture will be given but professional artists will be on hand for advice and guidance where requested and will be happy to provide inspiration or ideas on what to paint and how to get started. There will be an (optional) 15 minute "show-and-tell" and lighthearted art critique at the end of the workshop.
Workshop attendees are welcome to bring their own reference images they wish to paint from or pick from the endless supply of gallery oddities and treasures to inspire the work. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided but attendees are welcome to bring their own food and beverage if desired.
