This three-session class takes place on the following dates, from 12-2 pm each day:
This class will walk you through mapping your values of a photo or still life reference (your choice). You'll then complete your underpainting and add glazes of paint on top to create layered colors or depth.
All materials are provided. Paintings will be done on canvas. This class is recommended for students ages 14 and up.
Maxx Follis-Goodkind (she/her) loves teaching the breadth of possibility with acrylic painting. What would take weeks in oils, or never reach the level of realism in watercolors, is achieved with relative ease in acrylic.
