Led by renowned immersive theatre specialist Joe Hufton, alongside Making Waves producer John Sackett and director Bradley Barlow, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to delve into the creative and technical challenges of immersive storytelling.

Immersive experiences push the boundaries of traditional performance, requiring actors and directors to navigate non-linear narratives and interact directly with audiences—some of whom may also take on character roles. • Hands-on Learning: Develop scenarios, characters, and ideas for an immersive experience that will be staged during the Making Waves Film Festival in March 2025.

• Future Opportunities: Participants will be invited to take on roles in the March show, though this isn’t mandatory to join the workshop.
