Chickpea started roller skating in May 2020 to cope with the challenges of the pandemic. Since then she has acquired SkateIA Level 1 & 2, RollRight, SafeSport certified instructor. She offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced group roller skate classes in person and online; Roller Skating Basics, Foundations in Rhythm Skating, Rhythm Skate Choreography, Roll Right learn-to-skate classes and more. Chickpea’s goals are to share the joy of skating, educate on the urban culture of skating, build the skater and instructor community, and to help make skating accessible for as many as possible globally.

Roll Right is a Learn-to-Skate curriculum teaching foundational skate skills in clear progressions at PDX Fieldhouse Located off of SW Allen Blvd in Beaverton.. You keep track in your activity progress booklet and we keep track of your progress in our charts. You must register your $20 annual membership with RollRight.Org before booking your first class. A complimentary skate bag, activity booklet, and a resource video example of skills is included with your membership fee. Membership allows you to take Roll Right classes with any Roll Right certified instructor or location without having to start over. RollRight.org also provides you with support videos of skills taught so you can remember what they are when you leave the class.
Step 1: Register your $20 membership one-time with RollRight.Org before signing up for this class or bootcamp.
Step 2: Create your Vagaro.com profile and sign our SOS waivers and forms.
Step 3: Book and pay for your class online only.. no cash is accepted.
Stages 1-3 require full protective gear; If you come to class without all of your protective gear, you will lose your class. Gear may be rented for $5/session at the venue.
Parents must stay onsite for the entirety of their kid’s class.
$5 Rental skates are available, pay when you get there.
