About:
Ready to level up your improv? This exciting 8-week course is designed for improviers who have completed Levels One and Two and are eager to dive deeper into the art of improvisation. You’ll build on your foundation with dynamic scene work, bold character choices, and imaginative exploration that takes your play to the next level.
Throughout the course, we’ll focus on building strong, grounded scenes, expanding your world-building skills, and getting playful with stage work, environment work, and object work—all tools to help you create vivid, believable settings and more engaging scenes. You’ll learn how to make the mundane exciting and bring even the most absurd ideas into realistic, relatable contexts, crafting characters with greater emotional and natural comedic depth. Through guided exercises and ensemble-driven practice, you’ll unlock the hidden part your imagination, explore ideas you’ve never imagined, and strengthen your ability to collaborate with multiple scene partners. This class is all about discovery, risk-taking, and play. You'll stretch your creative muscles, sharpen your instincts, and develop a deeper understanding of how to create compelling, authentic moments onstage.
By the end, you’ll be ready to tackle more advanced short-form improv games, bring richer characters to life, and confidently build entire worlds from a single suggestion.
