ADVANCED MUSIC IMPROV with Shulie Cowen & Jonathan Dinerstein
This advanced workshop is a fun opportunity for experienced musical improvisers to get individual attention and feedback, with a particular focus on solos, character, and performance. The workshop is customized to the particular issues each student is facing in their musical improv, giving you tools that you can put to use on stage immediately.

 

Instructor Bio:
Shulie Cowen is a graduate of Northwestern University, a former member of The Second City National Touring Company, and a member of the original cast of Schoolhouse Rock Live!.  She is currently the Director and ensemble member of Opening Night: The Improvised Musical!®, and performs around the country with the long-form improv show, EST. Other credits include Mr. Mayor, 2 Broke Girls, How I Met Your Mother, and Liza On Demand. Shulie knows that there is no “I” in “team”. But there are 4 “I”s in “I’m not mad I’m just disappointed.”
