We're back with the second annual 505 Awards: Leadership in Economic Development! The awards recognize individuals and organizations that are making exceptional contributions to economic growth and prosperity in the Albuquerque metro area, resulting in improvements to the region's overall economic strength.  Help us celebrate this year's honorees!

The awards are hosted by Albuquerque Economic Development, Inc. and the Albuquerque Forward Fund.  

 

ORGANIZATIONAL AWARDS:

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP (Sponsored by Enterprise Bank & Trust)  

2020 HONOREES: ALBUQUERQUE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION AND INDIAN PUEBLO CULTURAL CENTER

This award recognizes an organization that has made significant contributions toward advancing and strengthening the community's economy.

 

EXCELLENCE IN WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT (Sponsored by Facebook)

This award recognizes a current or former public official or public employee who has served as a committed supporter of economic development efforts over a period of at least three years.

This award recognizes an emerging leader who is contributing to economic development programs, projects and activities in a significant manner that leads to increased investment in the community and job creation.

WE EXIST TO GROW THE ALBUQUERQUE ECONOMY.

We serve as an umbrella organization to promote investment in Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance and Valencia counties. With support from investors and allies in the public sector, AED actively recruits those companies that will export goods or services from New Mexico, thereby bringing new investment dollars to the state.
