Description
Learn Straps from international circus performer Stephen Williams (@circusstephen). Stephen has been teaching high level circus for 14 years (and performing for an additional 6 years on top of that) around the world and had the chance to first hand experience a lot of different approaches to aerial and hand balance. He believes that it does not matter what technique or method you use to learn, it’s your ability to extract from the various techniques the particular elements that allow you to express yourself as a growing person and where you are at.
Stephen has a Bachelor Degree in Circus Arts awarded in 2004 by the National Institute of Circus Arts (Australia) which provided the springboard for a spectacular international career that has seen him perform and creating work ranging from internationally televised ceremonial events and nation wide parades like to 2020 Olympic torch relay, working with some of the famous variety shows in the world. Some of Stephen's great achievements are creation and performance of the resident aerial show “Airbourne” for the Australia Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo.
So join us where you are at, in one or both of our Handbalancing Workshops on Saturday 3rd July at HAPY Studio, Currumbin.
