Description

After Destruction, Resilience: A Tisha b’Av Gathering of Healing and Hope
Saturday, August 2 | 8:00–9:30 p.m.
Resnick Family Campus

Join us for a powerful Tisha b’Av program that honors our tradition of mourning while creating space for resilience and connection.

As we chant passages from Eicha (Lamentations), we’ll hear firsthand from seven young IDF veterans, members of the Healing Trails delegation, who will share their stories of trauma, healing, and hope in the wake of October 7. Their personal reflections will be woven into the service, offering a deeply moving encounter with both ancient grief and modern-day courage.

This meaningful evening includes Havdalah, a short film, and a panel conversation with the veterans.

Healing Trails is a wilderness therapy program for Israeli veterans coping with combat-related trauma.

This event is free and open to all.

Registration required.
