After School Art Class

Description

This after school art class is held at the old Dees Drugstore - home of Pender Arts Council - in historic Burgaw, NC. Classes are offered for elementary grades K-5 and for middle school grades 6-8.  K-5 meet on Thursday afternoon from 4-5 pm. Middle school meets on Thursday evening 6-7 pm. The monthly fee is $40.00. The class will be offered on a monthly basis. Classes are limited to 5 participants. We will draw, paint with acrylics and watercolors, collage, craft, create mixed media art and 3D art. We will experience the creative process and students will be encouraged to pursue and develop their favorite medium. Cheryl Holt of Emerge Studio will lead the students in creative art expression.
