Please join us for our AIR Annual Membership Meeting. Membership meetings are not just informative—they’re a valuable chance for members to connect, network, and support one another.

We have several important items to cover:

• Board member elections
• Update on visitor marketing and tourism forecasting from Vic Isley, President and CEO of Explore Asheville
• Update on water and lead testing from City of Asheville
• Best practices for keeping customers informed of changing hours and specials with Marketing Outpost
• Updates from AIR on our Financial Empowerment Program, WNC Tip It Forward, advocacy efforts for storm recovery and more.

Board member candidates up for re-election to another term include: John Fleer (Rhubarb and The Rhu), Dano Holcomb (Root Down), Mike McCarty (The Lobster Trap), Vanessa Salomo (Chestnut and Corner Kitchen). Jay Richardson, from Burial Beer and Forestry Camp, is a candidate for election to a new term as a board member. A proxy vote form can be found here if you are unable to attend the meeting.
