Join us for on Tuesday, May 13 at 9am for our AIR Membership Meeting at Explore Asheville (27 College Place). This quarter we're focusing on how members can be more inclusive workplaces and businesses.
- Inclusive Hiring Partners: Closing the opportunity gap by connecting Buncombe County residents experiencing significant barriers to employment with available jobs in growing industries.
- NC Workforce Development Coalition: Recovery friendly workplaces are those that actively promote an atmosphere of understanding and compassion toward employees and their families who may be in recovery or dealing with substance use disorders (SUD).
- Operation Gateway: Fair chance employment advocates focusing on assisting job seekers with previous criminal history with opportunities for employment.
- Accessible Asheville: The goal of Accessible Asheville is to create an online directory of local restaurants and experiences that highlights their accessibility features for people with mobility challenges.
