Open to students, theatre practitioners, performers and artists, Alaa Shehada's workshop will be rooted TFT's method of developing dramaturgy, including comedy as a means of community resilience. Alaa leads the workshop based on personal stories and experiences, revealing how comedy and satire provide unique forms of expression to capture the resilience and cultural resistance of Palestinians living under violent occupation, Israeli colonization and repression. Co-sponsored by Freehold Theatre.
