About the Play

Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar,and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character. 

 

Frequently Asked Questions

  • PHOTO AND VIDEO POLICY - All ticket purchases include access to the Photography and Video Recording of the performance which will be sent via email after the performance.  With this offer, we politely ask that ALL AUDIENCE MEMBERS REFRAIN FROM TAKING PHOTOS OR VIDEO during the performance.  While we don’t want to have to enforce this policy, we will do so as a courtesy to the performers and to protect everyone’s viewing experience.  No one likes school jail so don’t book your trip by brandishing your Phone.
     
  • PARKING - Parking will only be available on the Upper Playground blacktop, which is accessible through the gate at the back of the staff parking lot, as well as the available street parking around the neighborhood.  With all of the production traffic and children preparing for the performance, we ask that even if there are spaces temporarily available in the Staff Parking Lot, please only use the Upper Playground Blacktop or the neighborhood street parking.  No “Stack Parking” on the Playground please.
     
  • FLOWERS - If you ordered flowers as part of your order, you will be able to pick them up at the Door Check In for the performance.
     
  • CONCESSIONS - B Candy providing our Concession Items (Printed Cookies and Candy Grams for Cast & Crew as well as Water and Chips) and limited items will be available on the Lunch Table Patio before the performance.  Unfortunately, only Cash and Venmo will be accepted for the concessions.
     
  • WALK UP TICKETS AT THE DOOR - Additional General Admission ONLY tickets will be available at the door for CASH ONLY for those late commitments or forgotten relatives.
     
  • SEATING DETAILS - As there are 3 different seating sections, we will be making every effort to enforce the purchased seating arrangements once inside the MPR.  In each section the seating will be first come, first seating so find a seating buddy and get in your seat as soon as possible.

The Harbor View Parent Faculty Organization (PFO) is a non-profit 501(c)3 registered organization dedicated to promoting Harbor View students’ health, well-being, and educational success through strong parent, family, and community involvement. Our purpose is to provide programming, staff, parent volunteer support, and fundraising for Harbor View Elementary, its students, and faculty. Our vision and goals are to engage and empower families to advocate for all children so we can provide an educational experience that celebrates the “whole child” while challenging them academically.  By adding credentialed teachers to augment and support academics, technology, physical education, and our art program, every student benefits.
