Description
Virginia Youth Ballet presents a classic ballet, Alice in Wonderland.
As Alice and her nanny visit a meadow of flowers for story time, Alice falls asleep and her magical journey begins. Rabbit, in the meadow of flowers, befriends her. In order to be safe from an approaching storm, he takes her to hide in his rabbit hole. On the other side is his world of whimsical and sometimes scary characters. They encounter love, danger, and beauty on their journey. Dancers from around the world entertain Alice, while pirates take her treasure to the wicked Queen of Hearts.
Enjoy the adventures of Alice as her imagination takes us on an extraordinary journey!
Homeschool tickets will be available for $5 per person.
Performances will be held:
Friday, October 9th, 2026 at 9:00am, 10:45am, & 12:45pm
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the performance. The performance will last approximately 1 -1 1/2 hours. Balcony or on the floor seating is available to homeschoolers. An educational digital program will be emailed 1-2 weeks prior to the performance.
PLEASE NOTE: For the safety and enjoyment of all audience members and out of respect for the dancers, we do ask that children in the audience have parental supervision at all times during the performance.
