The All Day Pass includes entry to the full event! SERVE, LEARN (lunch + programming), and CELEBRATE. 100% of your ticket cost is a donation to Renovation Alliance. All donors will receive a donation receipt.
Renovation Celebration is a family-friendly, community oriented event to rally support and enthusiasm around Renovation Alliance's efforts to lift the quality of affordable housing in the Roanoke Valley area. Whether it’s replacing a leaking roof, repairing a heating system, restoring water service, or installing an accessible ramp for a homeowner in need, this event serves as a milestone to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of everyone involved with Renovation Alliance.
More about this event:
1. SERVE (9am-11:30am) Volunteer ticket holders will come together in service to the community. Choose from three projects and work alongside other members of the community to rebuild a safer, healthier home for a neighbor in need.
2. LEARN (11:30am - 1pm) Enjoy a BBQ lunch catered by Pumpernickel Pickle while learning about Renovation Alliance's mission and impact. Programming to include partner awards and a special viewing of our new video.
3. CELEBRATE (1pm - 4pm) The event will open to general admission ticket holders as well for a family-friendly celebration much like a good block party! Beer, music, and kid-friendly activities abound. Highlights for adults include a partnership with A Few Old Goats, silent auction, partner booths, and yard games. Kids can paint their own birdhouse (in partnership with Beck and Call Home Services) and enjoy bounce houses. Adults and kids alike will enjoy local food trucks and music by The Big Whoop!
All event proceeds will support Renovation Alliance’s home repair for low-income homeowners program which provides free critical and necessary home repair services to neighbors in need throughout the Roanoke Valley area. In 2024, Renovation Alliance invested more than $700,000 in home repairs, improvements, and modifications to rebuild safe and healthy homes for 95 neighbors in need. Renovation Celebration is Renovation Alliance’s first ever community fundraising event and the funds raised will be essential to the organization’s ability to meet the needs of homeowners in 2025 and beyond.
