ABOUT THE PLAY:
After postponing this show in summer 2020, Four County Players is thrilled to bring ALL IN THE TIMING by David Ives to the Mainstage! This is a critically-acclaimed, award-winning collection of short comedic plays that combine wit, intellect, satire, and just plain fun. We will be presenting three of these hilarious pieces as a one-act show: In THE PHILADELPHIA, a man struggles with and later overcomes the worst day ever. In SURE THING, two people meet in a cafe and find their way through a conversational minefield of false starts, gaffes, and faux pas on the way to falling in love. In WORDS, WORDS, WORDS, three writers attempt to recreate one of Shakespeare's greatest works. IMPORTANT COVID PROTOCOL INFORMATION (updated 7/30/21):
We are so excited to be returning to live, in-person theater with you! As we welcome you back for the first play of our 49th Season, our commitment to keep putting community before theater remains steadfast. While many of our state's protocols have been lifted, with the CDC's updated guidelines (7/27/21) Four County Players will continue to adapt and follow the standards of safety which make our performers, volunteers, staff, and patrons feel safe. As such:
- All patrons are asked to wear a mask inside the building regardless of vaccination status. You may lower your mask to eat and drink, but should replace it over your mouth and nose when you are finished (between sips/bites is even better).
- All volunteers, theater staff, and production staff are required to wear masks inside the building regardless of vaccination status.
- The three actors in ALL IN THE TIMING, all of whom are fully vaccinated, will be performing unmasked. There has been additional distance placed between the actors and audience (we are not selling seats to the front row for this production). This is in accordance with guidelines from the Health Education Services' COVID Compliance Officer training and current guidelines from the Actors Equity Association.
- Seating is limited to about 100 patrons per performance.
- When you select your seats (see website), our ticketing system will automatically space you apart from patrons not in your party. While we cannot guarantee six feet of distance between persons, you will not be sharing an armrest with anyone not in your party.
