All Is Calm tells the true story of the first Christmas Eve of World War I, when soldiers across the Western Front laid down their weapons to celebrate Christmas together. Presented by the Port Aransas Community Theatre  in collaboration with The Aransas Repertory Theatre.
 

The Western Front: Christmas 1914. Out of the violence of World War I, a silence, then a song. A German soldier steps into No Man’s Land singing “Stille Nacht.” Thus begins an extraordinary night of camaraderie, music and peace. An a cappella chorale, ALL IS CALM is a remarkable true story in the words and songs of the men who lived it. Written by Peter Rothstein. Vocal Arrangements by Erick Lichte and Timothy C. Takach.

Port Aransas Community Theatre

The mission of the Port Aransas Community Theatre (PACT) is to entertain, inform, and educate, thereby enriching the cultural life of the Texas Coastal Bend area. PACT shall provide area residents and visitors the opportunity to attend and participate in quality live performances of a cross-section of the finest theatrical works available. PACT shall provide education in the theatre arts to adults, young adults and children. In meeting these goals, PACT shall be mindful of the standards of its audiences and shall maintain fiscally sound management.
