Description

Join us for a special one-night screening of the Oscar®-nominated documentary ALL THAT BREATHES, plus an exclusive conversation afterward with one of the film's subjects, wildlife rehabilitator Nadeem Shezhad.

For the last 20 years, Nadeem Shezhad and his brother have been operating Wildlife Rescue India, a wildlife hospital in urban New Delhi where they battle environmental and social obstacles to rehabilitate black kites and other raptors. They have treated over 26,000 birds in total while also helping their neighbors learn to coexist peacefully with wildlife. In 2022, their work was chronicled in Shaunak Sen's full-length, Sundance-winning documentary, All That Breathes, which was later optioned by HBO and nominated for the Best Documentary Feature Academy Award®.

This fundraiser is free, but donations are highly encouraged! All donations will be divided evenly between Raptor Rescue & Research (the U.S-based sister organization of Wildlife Rescue India), Cascades Raptor Center, and the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council. Come support three great organizations and support wildlife across the globe.
