Aloha 5-OH! Catch the Wave! January 28th & 29th, 2027. Aloha Ukulele's 5TH ANNUAL Ukulele Fundraiser Festival tickets are on sale now! Join us for a vibrant and educational two-day experience hosted by the Aloha Ukulele Club at the Lakewood Ranch Library in Lakewood Ranch, FL. The event will run each day from 11AM - 2PM and is perfect for ukulele enthusiasts of all skill levels who are eager to learn, connect, raise funds for the community and celebrate the joy of music. 

On Day 1 - January 28th - AU Mini-Fest 2027 will feature a workshop and concert by the world-famous Birdwatchers. These gents are based out of Utah and are Kala Ukulele Ambassadors. According to their website, "The Birdwatchers provide... a refreshing, unique sound that revolves around ukulele instrumentation and three-part harmonies... blending classics from a bygone era with modern, charming numbers and unique original tunes. Grab a drink, sit back, relax, and prepare to get served.” Get ready to learn to harmonize with these talented musicians while playing ukulele in their "Singing the Strings" workshop.

On Day 2 - January 29th - AU Mini-Fest 2027 will have the amazing Ray Cygrymus of Pittsburgh, PA. Ray was an elementary school music for over thirty years, most recently specializing in ukulele instruction in the classroom. He attended Duquesne University earning a bachelor’s degree in music education, with an emphasis on voice. Ray has performed in countless musicals and plays, fronted rock bands and plays multiple instruments. Ray is a much sought after and renowned teacher and performer at ukulele festivals throughout the USA. Ray hopes to continue to grow, entertain, inspire, and educate the world on the beauty and diversity of this spectacular little instrument that brings people together in such a big way! His workshop - "Rock Ukulele Techniques from the 50s-90's" will be a blast as he covers multiple techniques on the ukulele utilizing popular songs though those decades. He will cover various strumming patterns, famous song introductions and recognizable song licks and riffs.

Aloha Ukulele Mini-Fest helps support the Aloha Ukulele charitable mission and in 2027 gives back to our local library, the local Lakewood Ranch VFW and local school music programs. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and appreciate the generosity of the ukulele community. 

Join us for this fun event. No music stand needed. Chairs and tables provided. Just bring your uke -and BYO lunch if you’d like. Snacks and water provided. Drawings each day.
