Description
Learn to weave a small basket from secondhand materials during this three hour course with Elaine Alder. You will learn how to start a basket from the bottom, shape the sides, and finish the top edge of your basket. This course will focus on two strand basket twining using materials such as plastic lace, tulle fabric, paper twist, fabric or leather strips, etc.
No prior basket weaving experience required. Instructor will provide all tools and materials, but if you wish to bring your own materials to incorporate, you are welcome to do so!
