Love has inspired composers for centuries. In Love Stories, Altius Brass presents an evening of music that explores romance, devotion, longing, joy, and loss through some of the most compelling musical narratives ever written.
The program features selections from Sergei Prokofiev's beloved Romeo and Juliet, on of the most powerful musical portrayals of love and tragedy in the classical repertoire. Alongside it, Walter MacDonald White Bear's Bear Love commissioned for 'Wandering with Wonder' shares a contemporary perspective rooted in storytelling, connection, and the enduring power of relationships.
From tender moments to sweeping drama, Love Stories celebrates the emotions that unite us all. Join Altius Brass for an unforgettable evening of music inspired by one of humanity's oldest and most universal themes.
