Description

2-day event, March 21 & 22.  All playing equipment is supplied.  

Start and end times both days: 10 AM - 1:30 PM

  • Day 1:  History of the game; introduction to tiles, card, and play direction.  Choosing a hand.  Joker rules.  Basic strategy.  
  • Day 2:  Guided game play, 3-4 games.  Table etiquette, buying supplies

Half hour break each day for snacks, stretching, etc.  Venue has baked goods, hot and cold beverages, sandwiches, smoothies, etc. available at reasonable prices.

We are patient, kind folks who love to play and teach Mah Jongg.  Although based in Reading, MA, we are now teaching folks from all of the surrounding towns.  Our goal is to teach you the game, strategy, best practices, and table etiquette while encouraging you to think strategically.
