Washington DC, District of ColumbiaWashington Hebrew Congregation's Women of WHC is thrilled to welcome Jewish actress and Broadway icon Tovah Feldshuh to Washington, D.C. for an in-person conversation and D.C.-area premiere of a new documentary, TOVAH. The film captures the life story of this remarkable entertainment legend and activist, who will be present for a post-screening Q&A with the film's director and producer.
A six-time Emmy and Tony nominee, Feldshuh currently stars as Bina, the rabbi's mother, in Netflix's popular romantic comedy, Nobody Wants This. She is also known for her decades of work in film (Kissing Jessica Stein, A Walk on the Moon), in television (Law & Order, The Walking Dead, Holocaust) and on Broadway (Golda's Balcony, the revival of Funny Girl, Yentl).
The screening begins at 4:00 pm and is open to the entire community — tickets must be purchased in advance. Take your experience to the next level with an enhanced ticket package that includes preferred seating and a Meet & Greet with Feldshuh and the film's director/producer at 3:00 pm.
