Description

With her warm and dynamic voice, Calysta Cheyenne has been singing the Great American Songbook and other jazz standards in Oregon venues since 2005. She grew up listening to and is heavily influenced by Ella Fitzgerald, Julie London, Peggy Lee, and Billie Holiday. She studied vocal jazz performance and songwriting at Berklee College of Music and is the lead vocalist of the Oregon-based bands, SugarBeats and Fortune’s Folly. This January she will be performing jazz standards with Tim Church on guitar, Paul Schmeling on saxophone, and Dave Miller on bass.
