30 West 68th StreetStephen Wise Free Synagogue, UJA-Federation of New York, and Jewish Community Relations Council of New York present the Unite. Lead. Fight. Tour with Ron Dermer, Israel’s former ambassador to the United States and minister of strategic affairs.
As ambassador, Dermer helped lead Israel’s opposition to the nuclear deal with Iran, secure the largest U.S. military assistance package in Israel’s history and successfully negotiate the Abraham Accords. Following October 7th, Dermer served in Israel’s war cabinet, was the point man in Israel for both the Biden and Trump administrations, and led the negotiating team that returned all the remaining hostages in Gaza. This is a conversation not to be missed.
In conversation with David L. Moore, a former UJA board chair and JCRC president, Amb. Dermer will draw on his extensive expertise and experience to discuss antisemitism and what this moment in Jewish history demands of us.
Doors will open at 7:15 p.m. Bring the family. Get informed. Be INSPIRED!
