On Monday 2nd of March Tutto Wines will host a dinner celebrating the joys of Nebbiolo with Isabella of Arpepe and Luca of Valfaccenda in the beautiful surrounds of The Loft.
The evening will provide an opportunity to explore the grape in several guises, from the delicate, nuanced wines borne from the steep granite terraces of the Valtellina, to the soulful expressions of the grape which come from the soft, sandy slopes of Roero.
Located above LUCA restaurant in Clerkenwell, The Loft is one of London's most beautiful hidden spaces. For the occasion, LUCA's executive chef Robert Chambers has written a beautiful four-course menu that includes: Hereford beef tartare with jerusalem artichoke; Braised pork cheeks with mustard fruits and polenta and Poached pears with piedmont hazelnut and baked mascarpone to finish.
Dinner will begin at 7pm and the menu is priced at £55 exclusive of wine. A large number of Arpepe and Valfaccenda wines will be available, including some special older vintages directly from their respective cellars, with Isabella and Luca on hand to share the story behind what's in your glass.
