Join us on Tuesday, September 26 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm for An Evening with Author Adrian Gonzalez, author of the Lola Dérez S.T.E.M. Mysteries series. The event, in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, will be emceed by WBIR journalist María Guzmán, a native of Nicaragua. She will interview Dr. Gonzalez about what inspired him to become a scientist, how and when he decided to inspire youth to explore STEM, and his journey in learning the craft of storytelling and how he applies it to the Lola Dérez series.
Books will be available for purchase and personalized signing by Dr. Gonzalez. Appetizers and wine will be served. Guests will also have a chance to win door prizes.
Tickets are $50/person plus a small processing fee. No refunds unless the event is cancelled by the Children's Museum of Oak Ridge. Proceeds will benefit the Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
