Description

CWS Jersey City invites you to an evening of celebration featuring delicious dishes from Syria, Afghanistan, Cuba, Ukraine, and Honduras; craft beer and wine from local businesses; musical performances by our phenomenal clients; and a fundraiser auction!

In the past two years, CWS Jersey City has grown exponentially to meet the needs of the influx of humanitarian migrants to the greater New York/New Jersey area. We are excited to announce the launch of two major new initiatives: our Migrant Justice Action Committee and our Refugee Arts Collective. These initiatives are intended to expand the breadth and scope of our work, and to tailor our programs to our client’s needs.

In addition to announcing new initiatives, the evening’s program will include a presentation from CWS Northeast Regional Director Courtney Madsen, musical performances by our clients, and a fundraiser auction featuring items like tickets to Shakespeare in the Park, a private tour of Mana Contemporary Gallery, and more.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for food and drinks.  Our program begins at 7:45 p.m.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
