Joy Clark is a Louisiana-born singer-songwriter whose warm, honest vocals and masterfully-crafted songs captivate the heart and soul. Joy's music is a blend of orchestral guitar work and bluesy lead guitar, creating a sound that is uniquely her own. Like many of her peers, her musical journey began in her father’s church, where she led the congregation in song and created an inviting atmosphere with her gentle and disarming approach. Her debut album "Tell it to the Wind," released under Ani DiFranco’s Righteous Babe Records has garnered critical acclaim, and marks her arrival on the national stage

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
  • We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  • Our outdoor space has a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. If you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
