Join us in La Veta for a powerful, deeply personal keynote by Tom Voss, an Iraq War veteran, award-winning author, and one of the nation's most compelling voices on mental health and resilience. Drawing from his harrowing experience with PTSD and moral injury after serving in Mosul, Iraq, Tom will take audiences through an extraordinary journey: a 2,700-mile, five-month trek from Wisconsin to California that became the Emmy-nominated documentary Almost Sunrise. He'll explore the science and practice of healing, from peer support and meditation to Yoga Nidra and nature, and share the hard-won wisdom that has moved audiences at Google, the Aspen Ideas Festival, and the U.S. Congress. Whether you are a veteran, a caregiver, a mental health professional, or simply someone who believes in the human capacity to heal, Tom's message is for you: healing is possible, and the hardest journeys can lead to the most meaningful destinations.
