Description
Kristin Jakob, local botanical artist, will help you get started depicting mushrooms in pencil on paper. A forgiving medium, pencil can be the groundwork over which watercolor or ink can then be added. Kristin will describe and demonstrate her technique and show examples of mushroom illustrations by other artists for inspiration. Drawing is an excellent way to really observe and study mushrooms!
Please bring #2 pencils, sharpeners and erasers; paper will be provided.
