The Event

  1. Guided tasting of the 5 species of Oysters. Leading international oyster expert and world champion oyster shucker Patrick McMurray will guide you through Virginica, Gigas, Kumamoto, Olympia & Edulis oyster species. 
  2. Biltmore Winery. A variety of sparkling and still wines from North Carolina’s Biltmore Winery will be paired with the oysters 
  3. “The Oyster Companion, a Field Guide” each guest will receive a signed copy of Patrick’s book. 

A rare unique opportunity to enjoy all 5 species at one time.
