Historic Rock Ford's America250 Lecture Series presents "Analyzing the Ten Crucial Days: A Thematic Interpretation of a Turning Point in the Revolutionary War." Presenter David Price examines the Winter Campaign of 1776-77 -- one of the most stories in the annuals of military history. David's narrative differs from earlier works on the subject that are largely a chronological account of this period. Copies of his new book "Winning the Ten Crucial Days" will be available for purchase and signing.

This presentation will begin at 2 PM in the Langmuir Education Room located on the first floor of the Rock Ford Barn. Prior to the lecture, attendees may visit the Snyder Gallery and our 2026 Focus Exhibit. The Snyder Gallery closes at 4 PM. 

About the Presenter: David Price's literary activity is an outgrowth of his work as a historical interpreter who focuses on the American Revolution and in particular on what historians have terms "The Ten Crucial Days" campaign from December 25, 1776 through January 3, 1777. David has been awarded the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution Bronze Good Citizenship Medal in recognition of his work as a historical interpreter, author, and speaker.

Historic Rock Ford is comprised of the circa 1794 General Edward Hand Mansion and the John J. Snyder, Jr. Gallery of Early Lancaster County Decorative Arts.
