Experience a musical homecoming as visionary multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter André Cymone returns to the Capri stage.

This exclusive performance serves as the official opening night for Capri 100, a year-long centennial celebration honoring a century of local arts culture. As a foundational co-architect of the globally revered Minneapolis Sound alongside his childhood friend Prince, taking the very stage where he first honed his craft as a teenager represents a true full-circle moment for Cymone.

Prepare for an ultra-funky, high-octane night that celebrates both living musical history and Cymone’s new studio album, The Resurrection of Funk. This groundbreaking record guides listeners through a masterclass of grooves with standout tracks like “The Revolution’s On Yo In ‘O’ Net” and “Funk is Alive.” It serves as a bold declaration that authentic musicianship never goes out of style. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness a legendary funk pioneer live in the intimate setting where it all began.
