🎙 Andy Bumatai is a pioneer of Hawaiian stand-up and a beloved master of pidgin-style storytelling. With decades of stage and screen success, Andy’s sharp wit and deep cultural roots have made him a household name across the islands and beyond. More than just a comic, Andy has been a mentor and guiding force for the next generation of Hawaiian talent—including none other than Augie T.
🎙 Augie T. (Augusto Tulba) got his start opening for Andy in the early days of his career. With Andy’s encouragement and example, Augie went on to become a powerhouse in his own right—earning two Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards, starring in shows like Hawai‘i Five‑0 and Magnum P.I., and now serving as a Honolulu City Councilmember. He’s also the voice behind one of Hawai‘i’s most popular morning radio shows on Decades 107.9 FM. Voted Hawai‘i’s Funniest Comic, Augie blends hilarious storytelling with heartfelt island pride.
