Anglesey Astronomical Society Welcomes You to an Evening with Len Jones
Join us for a fantastic evening as we welcome local, passionate astrophotographer Len Jones, one of the founding members of Vale Stargazing.
Len has kindly offered his expertise to speak to our members and guests about all things Saturn. Utilizing the immersive OpenSpace software, Len will take us on an extraordinary journey from our home planet all the way to the jewel of the solar system. Along the way, we will pass by some of Saturn's largest moons before returning our feet to the ground, taking a deep dive into the fascinating history of the Cassini mission.

Event Details & Ticketing
Age Suitability: This event is open to anyone aged 14 years and over.

Guests & Visitors: All guests must purchase a ticket at checkout. 100% of the funds raised go directly towards supporting the society and securing the future of our new observatory project.
On the Night
Refreshments: Complimentary tea and coffee will be available free of charge.
Expert Advice: Our team will be on hand to offer telescope and optics advice if you are looking to get into the hobby or upgrade your gear.
Observing: Due to how late the daylight lasts into the evenings this month, the likelihood of deep-sky stargazing is low—however, if the weather plays ball, we will absolutely attempt some live solar observing!
