Annie Booth is an award-winning composer, arranger, pianist, and educator known for her clear and captivating musical voice. In 2025, she joined the faculty at the University of Colorado Boulder as Assistant Professor of Jazz Studies. Her work has been recognized by Chamber Music America, ISJAC, ASCAP, DownBeat Magazine, and others. Annie has been commissioned by leading performers and institutions across the country, and her works for large jazz ensemble are published by Alfred Music and Brava Jazz Publishing, which she co-founded in 2023. A sought-after bandleader and recording artist, she has released seven albums, including her most recent with the Annie Booth Trio, Here, There and Everywhere: The Beatles Songbook (Live) (2024). Booth is joined for this performance by longtime friends and musical collaborators, bassist Patrick McDevitt and drummer Alejandro Castaño.
A portion of the proceeds from this concert will benefit The Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts (CCJA), a unique non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth to creatively express themselves through the language of America's art form - jazz. Founded in 1999 by Paul and Christine Romaine, today CCJA serves over 100 students in its programs throughout the academic year and in the summer. In the 20 years since its inception, CCJA has served several thousand teenagers, many of whom have gone on to forge successful careers as jazz artists or carry a deep appreciate for jazz with them into adulthood.
