Gather with fellow Temple members for an important evening of congregational updates, leadership transition, and the installation of the 2026-2027 Temple Board and Officers.
Hear directly from Temple leadership, committee chairs, and senior clergy about the work being done to strengthen and sustain our congregation. At the meeting, the congregation will vote to install the new Board and Officers. The nominees are Frederick Levin and Lynn Wagmeister. We will honor outgoing Trustees Steve Seigel and Robin Zucker and recognize Brian Michael as the newly appointed General Counsel to the Board.

Bios
Fredrick Levin
Fredrick Levin is a partner in the law firm of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. He represents financial services industry clients in consumer class actions arising under federal and state consumer protection statutes and in enforcement matters brought by state attorneys general and federal and state agencies including the California Department of Financial Protection & Innovation. He also advises clients on regulatory and compliance issues including the drafting and enforcement of arbitration agreements and other alternative dispute resolution procedures.
Fredrick is a past president of the Los Angeles Region of the American Jewish Committee and currently serves on its National Board of Governors. He also serves as president of Machpelah Cemetery Association in Detroit, Michigan.
Fredrick resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Marsha, and their daughter, Emily. Emily was a member of the charter class of both Erika J Glazer Early Childhood Center and Brawerman East Elementary School. Fredrick and his family have been members of Wilshire Boulevard Temple for fourteen years.

Lynn Wagmeister
Lynn Wagmeister attended Occidental College, where she studied Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She continued her studies at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, focusing in Business Management. Lynn has worked at the Calthorp School for fifteen years, spending 12 of those years as Admissions Director before retiring from the position in 2023. She is currently in the role of Director of Transition and Strategic Planning. She has also served on the Board of Calthorp School.
She has been active at the LA Jewish Federation for decades. Prior to the merger with University Synagogue, she and her family were members of University Synagogue where she served on the board. She currently is a valued member of the Temple’s Education Committee to which she brings her calm, professional wisdom and experience
Lynn and her husband, Bob, live in Santa Monica where they raised their 3 sons, David, Jono, and Michael.
