This class will focus on Anubis, the ancient Egyptian deity of mummification, embalming, funerary rites, and the afterlife. He was a guardian of tombs and a guide to the underworld. We will explore who Anubis is, delve into the myths that feature him, and learn how to create an altar dedicated to him.
About The Instructor
Angela is an eclectic witch who embraces a diverse range of spiritual practices and traditions. She has a unique ability to read tarot cards, interpret runes, and perform tea leaf readings, offering profound insights to those seeking guidance. Her love for ancient Egyptian and spiritual practices has been with her for as long as she can remember. One of her favorite childhood memories is visiting a local spiritual shop with her mom, where she received her first reading at just seven years old. As she grew older, her passion and practice deepened, though she remained a closeted witch until her late 20s. During the pandemic, Angela made the life-changing decision to leave her career in the Film and TV industry to pursue her spiritual path full-time—a choice she describes as one of the best she’s ever made. Today, she finds true joy in helping others realign with themselves and their spiritual paths. Angela connects with deities through whimsical tea parties and uses divination tools to strengthen those bonds. She also crafts jewelry inspired by various deities, infusing each piece with intention and magic.
