Description

Please note: The September 10th performance will be held at Grafton Street Dinner Theatre, 1741 Grafton Street. All other performances are outdoors, please ensure you are dressed for the weather.

Diane is an ape who thinks she’s above it all. Living in the forests of Indonesia (faithfully recreated across from Point Pleasant’s lower parking lot), she toils at her typewriter, desperate to create a work of art that’ll cement her legacy in a human library! Her closest friend, Bonzo, struggles to understand Diane’s ambition and why the whole process is making her miserable, so he takes her to a great ape sage in pursuit of wisdom. Together, they explore the nature of art, creativity, and self-worth in their quest to cure existential impermanence. It’s existentialism that kids can enjoy! Yipeee!!!

This show accepts pay-what-you-can tickets in exact cash (no change) at the door. This means that anybody can come see the show at the show time with any amount of cash, provided there are still tickets available.
