Description

Learn how to weave a 14”-16” melon or potato basket using locally harvested vines as frames and dyed rattan as primary weaving materials. 

Joe Bruneau first learned basket weaving in 1983 while a student at Warren Wilson College in Asheville, NC, and has been teaching ever since. Galleries that represent his work are: Flow Marshall in Downtown Marshall, NC, Gallery of the Mountains in the Omni Grove Park Inn, Asheville, NC, and Local Cloth in the River Arts District in Asheville, NC. 

The class price includes all materials. No refunds within 7 days of workshop.
