About the Instructor: Alyssa Phillips Downey is the owner of Amp’d Designs, helping businesses get noticed through bold, unforgettable Branding & Web Design that is deeply rooted in both strategy and business goals, and looks beautiful too. She loves working with fearless and ambitious entrepreneurs on designs that convey the intention and quality they put into their work.

Alyssa has a decade of experience as a professional designer, holds a BFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, and worked as an art director in NYC before moving to the mountains of Asheville, NC.

She is also the founder of Make Your Design Matter ®, which provides resources and education to help ambitious self-employed designers grow their businesses.
