Description
Step into the world of 'Navigating Knowledge' with curator Patricia Lee Daigle and exhibition artist Nelson Gutierrez during this exclusive evening at Memphis’ art museum. The exhibition uses vessels and navigation as rich metaphors for the movement and containment of knowledge—from ancient philosophies and scientific theories to religious teachings and global histories. Featuring powerful works in a range of media, the show journeys from the 1960s to today, charting intellectual and cultural migrations.
Following the guided viewing, guests are invited to enjoy specialty aperitifs and a lively discussion with Patricia and Nelson. It's an immersive evening where art meets ideas—brought to you by your art museum.
