“Justin has been drawing since he could hold a pencil. While mostly self taught, he was offered several scholarships to schools like Pratt and Parsons.
He pursued a career in entertainment and worked for several companies but art was always a part of himself that he missed, so after a decade, he left corporate world and got back to making art full time. He had many solo and shared art shows in galleries all over Columbus, and nationwide, taught a watercolor painting class at several local spaces, including McConnell art center, as well as given private lessons and provided education and support to local and international art scene and fellow artists. He has shipped his artwork all over the states and has collectors in many counties including, Canada, Japan, Australia and England and many more. His influences have been Andy Warhol and pop art, 80s New York art scene, midcentury modern and atomic esthetics and colors, while all his work is hand sketched and hand painted with no digital aid of any kind.”
