Join John David Berdahl at Unglued’s Craftatorium for another exciting installment of “As Seen On TV,” where his three years of creative segments on North Dakota Today come to life through energetic, step-by-step instruction. In this bold and vibrant workshop, participants will explore the iconic visual language of Keith Haring and the power of art as activism.
Inspired by Haring’s dynamic figures, radiant babies, and barking dogs, this session focuses on creating high-contrast, large-scale artwork using simplified shapes, strong outlines, and expressive movement. Participants will experiment with chalk and paint marker techniques reminiscent of Haring’s subway drawings, learning how repetition, symbolism, and color can communicate powerful ideas.
This workshop is Sun, March 29 4pm at the Unglued Craftatorium at Brewhalla - 1702 1st Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102 (attached to Drekker Brewing - you'll find this workshop room on Brewhalla's 2nd floor!). Ages adult and older teen. Each attendee must be a ticket holder.
