On Sunday afternoon, May 7th at 4:00PM, we are hosting an Asian Food fundraiser to help raise funds for our youth group summer mission trip. Our team will be traveling to Dinorwic, Ontario, Canada to help Camp of the Woods get ready for their summer program. Summer cleanup is a big deal that requires a lot of people after the long, harsh winter. Camp of the Woods depends on the assistance of local churches and groups to help them each summer.
We will be offering two plate options prepared by a professional chef. Our menu entrees will include Sweet and Sour Pork, Kung Pao Chicken, and Bulgogi Beef. The adult plate ($20) will include 2 entrees items, either rice or noodles, an egg roll, a fortune cookie, and a drink. The child's plate ($15) will include 1 entree, either rice or noodles, an egg roll, a fortune cookie, and a drink.
We also offer a delivery option for those who do not wish to join us. There will be a one-time delivery fee of $5 (per order, not per person). We will not deliver to homes, but rather to a set location in Lake Isabella (Post Office parking lot), Wofford Heights (Post Office parking lot), and Kernville (Chamber of Commerce parking lot). Meals will be delivered to these off-site locations at 5:00PM. If you purchase the delivery option, please email ben@kernvillechurch.com with your name and a contact number. We will notify you of the meeting place.
There will be raffles available at the event for those who would like a chance to win some great stuff!
