Description

Join Lorrie Vogel in creating expressive abstract landscapes using cold wax medium, oil paint, ink, and layered mark-making techniques. This workshop focuses on intuitive painting, texture building, and creating mood through layered surfaces. Students will begin with a custom cold wax palette and experiment with atmospheric backgrounds using ink and loose color fields. Through layering, scraping, and expressive brushwork, participants will build richly textured landscapes inspired by coastal light, open fields, and reflective water.
