Description
Sign up for individual auditions. The spring auditions are not meant to be a large team shake up, but rather to fill spots and to get a feel for improviser progression over time.
Instructions:
Select date and time that you would like to audition. Group auditions are for new groups or formats only, do not sign up if you are not a group.
Ownership and the Audition Committee may reach out to you in order to re-schedule your audition so that everyone has enough people during their auditions.
Audition format will be the same as previous auditions. The audition will start with introductions and double checking availability (which you should answer when signing up for auditions). Once that is complete, you and the group you are auditioning with will have 20 minutes of a carousel show in order to demonstrate your ability to the Audition Committee. During the audition the judges are giving you a score from 1-10 in the following categories:
- Yes And
- Object Work
- Listening
- Gameplay
- Confidence
- Supports Others
- Character Work
- Relationship Work
- Overall Impression
Note that your availability is taken into account, but we will not cast you for a day just because you're only available that day, auditions results are based on audition scores in relation to other improvisers at the theater.
